We have been invited to sing at the Graham County Fair October 6th at 6pm in the Variety Show! We will have a busy month learning a song or two for that! How exciting!!
Let's Start "On a High Note"!
On a High Note (OAHN) is a community-based choral program that provides advanced vocal experiences for kindergarten through eighth grade students with unchanged singing voices in three choirs: Jamorama Choir, Allegro Choir, and the Jiubilante Choir.
The major goal of OAHN is to provide an opportunity for musical expression and personal development in a supportive and joyful environment. Our intent is to supplement the musical training offered in our area's school music programs and to make OAHN experience accessible to young people throughout the Gila Valley.
The choir fosters the life-long learning and enjoyment of music. Students study music reading skills in order to improve choir performance and personal growth. OAHN performs a variety of choral music appropriate for treble voice in the tradition of American and European composers, both secular and sacred.
All three choirs will perform in public concerts during the year. The first concert will be held December 5th at 6:00 PM (location still to be determined).
OAHN is a music performance and education program for children and youth, emphasizing the development of musical skills and understanding.
